Import of raw materials for residents of liberated territories to be exempted from customs duties for 10 years

The import of raw materials for residents of the liberated territories will be exempted from customs duties for ten years, as the relevant draft amendment to the law 'On Customs Tariff' was discussed in the third reading at today's plenary of the Milli Majlis (Parliament), Report informs.

The draft amendment envisages the exemption from customs duties for importing raw materials and items for production activities by residents of the liberated territories registered for VAT purposes for a period of 10 years from January 1, 2023.

The relevant executive authority will approve the list of raw materials and items.

The bill of amenments to the law was adopted in the third reading after discussions.
