Deputy speaker: ‘France and Armenia commited many murders’

"Why does France love Armenia?! If we look at history, we will see that both have committed many murders. So, their genetic code is compatible in killing people and committing genocide," Deputy Speaker of the Milli Majlis (Parliament) Fazail Ibrahimli said at the plenary session held on November 16, Report informs.

He noted that the resolution adopted by the French senate is not the result of Armenian love alone: "This stems from opposing the strengthening of Turkic states throughout history. The triumphant step of a strong nation should be an example to the whole world and the necessary results should be drawn. Azerbaijan will continue to defend its lands."

The deputy chairman added that with the victory of Azerbaijan in the Patriotic War, the fact that the Turkic people became a force in the region cannot help but worry the Christian Western countries:

"Unfortunately, at this time, Iran is also 'active' in this regard. Killing thousands of people in front of Iran's eyes, tragedies, the Khojaly genocide, the desecration of mosques, and other crimes were committed by Christian countries. Instead of being ashamed of all these actions, they stand by the Armenians. Some members of the Iranian parliament lose their temper and cross the entire red line and give advice. They show a biased position against Azerbaijan at every opportunity. Today, Iran must draw conclusions from what is happing there. You can't play with the feelings of 30 million people. I believe that the deputies of the Iranian parliament should go back to history and regret their actions."
