Deputy Chair of Verkhovna Rada appeals to Azerbaijan to help return Ukrainian children taken to Russia

Olena Kondratiuk, Deputy Chair of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, appealed to Azerbaijan to help return all Ukrainian children to their homes.

"Since the beginning of the war, 20,000 Ukrainian children have been forcibly deported to Russia. This crime has been documented and the International Criminal Court has issued an arrest warrant for the perpetrators," she said at the special meeting of the Milli Majlis (parliament) held on May 16 on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev.
