Budget of Azerbaijan’s Unemployment Insurance Fund adopted in first reading

The bill "On the budget of Azerbaijan’s Unemployment Insurance Fund for 2024" was adopted in the first reading at today's plenary meeting of the parliament, Report informs.

The bill was presented by MP Musa Guliyev, who heads the parliamentary committee on labor and social policy.

In 2024, the fund's income and expenses are envisaged in the amount of 238 million manats ($139.9 million), which is 20.3 million manats ($11.941 million) or 9.3% more than in the current year.
