At today’s plenary session of the Milli Majlis, a draft of proposed amendments to the law "On the protection of public health" was submitted for discussion in the third reading, Report informs, citing the chairman of the Parliamentary Health Committee, Ahliman Amiraslanov.
The parliamentarian noted that after the amendments come into force, the problem of the availability of different prices in medical institutions will be eliminated.
Tariffs for medical services that are not included in the package of compulsory medical services, and provided by state medical institutions to the population on a paid basis, as well as tariffs for medical services provided to persons who are not insured in accordance with the law on health insurance, are established by an institution determined by the relevant executive body. In relation to the medical institutions subordinate to TABİB, this will be carried out by the State Agency for Compulsory Health Insurance, other medical institutions - by the state bodies to which these medical institutions are subordinate.
After discussions, the bill was adopted in the third and last reading.
