Members of the Azerbaijani Parliament will return from vacation next week.
Report informs that during its term, the Parliament goes on vacation twice a year - from July 15 to August 30 and from January 1 to 15.
During the vacation period, MPs are considered to be on leave.
In addition, according to the first paragraph of Part I of Article 88 of the Azerbaijani Constitution, the Parliament convenes for two regular spring and autumn sessions each year. The spring session begins on February 1 and continues until May 31.
If February 1 falls on a weekend, voting day, or a non-working holiday, the session begins on the first working day following that date. This means that the first plenary session of the legislative body's spring session in 2024 will be held on February 3.
