A co-operation agreement and a roadmap document for 2022 have been signed between the legislative assemblies of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan on 1 April as part of the on-going official visit of the parliamentary delegation helmed by Chair of the Milli Majlis (parliament) Sahiba Gafarova to the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Report informs, citing the parliament, that the Chair of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova and Chair of the Oliy Majlis Tanzila Narbayeva attached their signatures to both documents for the Azerbaijani and the Uzbek sides, respectively. The leaders of the two parliaments voiced the shared confidence that the documents they had inked were going to contribute profusely to the continued deepening of inter-parliamentary cooperation and expansion of law-making experience exchanges. It was further said that the progress of the inter-parliamentary relations provided for the continued strengthening of the ties between our countries and nations.
