A payment organization will have to pay a state fee of 2,000 manats ($1,176) to carry out activities in the field of payment services and payment systems in Azerbaijan, Report informs.
The bill amending the law "On State Duty" was discussed in the first reading at today's parliamentary meeting.
In addition, according to the document, a state duty of 3,000 manats ($1,764) will be established for organizing electronic money, and 2,500 manats ($1,470) for a payment operator.
After discussions, deputies voted to approve the bill in the first reading.
