Azerbaijan lowers age limit for small electric vehicle riders

Azerbaijan's Milli Majlis (Parliament) has approved a groundbreaking law in its third reading that will allow teenagers as young as 14 to operate small electric vehicles on the country's roads.

According to Report, which cites the amendment to the Road Traffic Law, while previously, 14-year-olds were only permitted to ride bicycles on public roads, now, this age group will have the freedom to navigate the streets on eco-friendly electric vehicles.
