Azerbaijan introduces fine for admitting foreigners, stateless persons to political parties

In Azerbaijan, a fine of up to 5,000 manats ($2,937) is introduced for accepting foreigners and stateless persons into the ranks of a political party, Report informs.

In this regard, amendments to the Code of Administrative Offenses are proposed.

According to the amendments, for accepting foreigners and stateless persons into the ranks of a political party, officials will be fined from 800 to 1,000 manats ($470-$587), and legal entities will be fined from 3,000 to 5,000 manats ($1,762 to $2,937).
