As part of the bilateral cooperation plan between Azerbaijan and Tajikistan for 2024, a meeting was held between representatives of both countries’ Air Force, Report informs, citing Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry.
At the meeting, the guests were given an extensive briefing on the history and activities of the Air Force, information was given about the role of the Air Force in the 44-day Patriotic War, discussions were held on the use of unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as other issues of mutual interest.
In accordance with the plan, the Tajik delegation visited military units and military educational institutions of the Air Force.
The Tajik guests were shown some unmanned aerial vehicles available in the armament of the Azerbaijan Army, and information was given about the tactical and technical characteristics of the installations.
