Solemn Military Oath-taking ceremonies of new cadets of special educational institutions in Baku city and Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic were held, Report informs, citing Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry.
The ceremonies were attended by the leadership and personnel of the National Defense University, special military educational institutions, representatives of the Defense Ministry, servicemen, teachers, parents, and other guests.
At the Military Oath-taking ceremonies, the battle flags were solemnly brought to the parade ground accompanied by a military orchestra.
The memory of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev and Martyrs, who sacrificed their lives for the independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan was honored with observing a minute of silence. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan accompanied by a military orchestra was performed.
The speakers sincerely congratulated the cadets and their parents on the occasion of the significant day, wished them to become honorable servicemen for the Azerbaijani people, to be loyal to the Motherland, the people, and the military oath, as well as to be disciplined in military service.
Then the cadets solemnly took the oath of loyalty to the Motherland and marched in front of the grandstand.
In the end, the parents got acquainted with the training process, living conditions in military educational institutions.
