Soldiers serving in Lachin stand firmly on guard of Azerbaijan's borders

The Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan has organized a media tour on the occasion of the first anniversary of the liberation of the Lachin district from the Armenian occupation, Report informs.

During the trip, the journalists visited the units of the Defense Ministry deployed in the liberated territories.

On December 1, 2021, the victorious Azerbaijani Army entered the Lachin district.

The media representatives visited the strategic combat post of the Azerbaijani Army in Lachin. The distance between the posts of the Azerbaijani Army and the Armenian Army is 10 to 150 meters.

The roads in the direction of the combat posts located on the Azerbaijani-Armenian state border have been widened, which greatly facilitates personnel and equipment access. Much work has been done to improve the service conditions for the Azerbaijani troops at combat posts deployed on the mountain top.

At present, the soldiers of Azerbaijan's mighty army, standing face to face with the enemy, are proudly serving on the state border.

Warrant officer of the Azerbaijani Army Rovshan Abbasov told Report about the heroism shown by the Azerbaijani servicemen during the 44-day war: "As the Supreme Commander-in-Chief said, we crushed the enemy with an iron fist. We avenged our martyrs. I am proud to serve in this position. Our people can be sure that the Azerbaijani soldier stands firmly on guard of our borders. If the Armenians ever come forward with territorial claims against our country, they will regret it."
