Soldier martyred during 1st Karabakh war laid to rest in Fuzuli

The remains of soldier Ali Huseynov, who died in the 1st Karabakh war, were buried in the Fuzuli district after 30 years.

According to Report's Karabakh bureau, the martyr was buried in the cemetery of the village of Ashagi Yaglivand of the Fuzuli district.

The funeral ceremony was attended by members of the martyr's family, his relatives, officials, and representatives of the public.

Ali Huseynov was born on August 13, 1968 in the village of Yukhari Yaglivand of the Fuzuli district. At the end of 1991, Huseynov voluntarily enrolled in the army, participated in the battles for Fuzuli and Khojavand.

Huseynov went missing on August 6, 1993 in the battles for the village of Govshalti, Fuzuli district.

His remains were found in one of the mass burials in the territories liberated from the occupation.
