On October 7, the Senior Workshop on International Rules governing Military Operations (SWIRMO) began in Baku, organized by the Ministry of Defense and the International Committee of the Red Cross, Report informs.
The workshop, which is one of the most important events of the ICRC, is attended by high-ranking officers from more than 70 countries.
The seminar will feature presentations on the history of the ICRC's establishment and current activities, military operations and law, integration of law, international humanitarian law, application of international humanitarian law in the Azerbaijani army, and other topics.
The seminar will last until October 12.
