President: Establishment of Special Forces proved itself in historic victory in Second Karabakh War

"Twenty-three years ago, Special Forces were established in Azerbaijan by the decree of the great leader Heydar Aliyev. By inking this decree, the Great Leader once again showed great foresight. The establishment of the Special Forces proved itself in our historic victory in the Second Karabakh War," Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, President Ilham Aliyev said, speaking to the personnel of the Defense Ministry's Special Forces Unit N on April 30 on the occasion of the 23rd anniversary of the establishment of the Special Forces, Report informs.
