Russian President Putin's deployment of troops spread worldwide to Ukraine shows how badly he is in trouble, Sviatoslav Yurash, a member of the Verkhovna Rada (Ukraine's parliament) from the Servant of the People party, told Report's Eastern Europe bureau.
"He is trying to fulfill his old dream of destroying Ukraine, but he is failing. It is possible to do this with neither professional army forces nor "Wagner" militants. Currently, Russia is doing its best to increase its efforts by involving those who are still serving in the South Caucasus. He will not succeed because no matter what Putin does, we will protect our Motherland," he added.
