MoD: ‘Armenia resorted to war crimes because it did not accept losing tactical advantage in the war’

"Armenia resorted to war crimes because it did not accept losing its tactical advantage in the war," said the Deputy Head of the Section of Cooperation with International Organizations and Western Countries of the International Military Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, lieutenant colonel Rashad Ahmadov, at the round table held on the 2nd anniversary of the terrorist act committed by Armenia in Ganja on October 11, 2020.

He said that there are international norms for waging wars:

"During the Ganja terror, all those norms were violated. Armenia's attack on civilians was aimed at creating panic in Azerbaijan. Armenia resorted to war crimes because it did not accept losing its tactical advantage in the war. Azerbaijan responded to these crimes on the battlefield."
