Minister: Joint exercises will be held on 100th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev and Republic of Turkiye - EXCLUSIVE

“Next year, we will hold joint Turkish-Azerbaijani military exercises on the occasion of the 100th birthday anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the establishment of the Republic of Turkiye,” the Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov said in an exclusive statement to the Ankara Bureau of Report.

The minister emphasized that in 2023, it is planned to hold several joint exercises of the Armed Forces of Turkiye and Azerbaijan:

“It is known that in 2023, a series of events will be held in both countries in honor of the 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the establishment of the Republic of Turkiye. These two events will have a significant place in the military field among the exercises we will hold together with our brotherly country. We will conduct exercises in honor of the 100th anniversary of National leader Heydar Aliyev and the establishment of the Republic of Turkiye.”
