Military top brass discusses special forces’ drills on border with Iran 

The training of the Special Forces on the border with Iran was discussed at the official meeting led by the Minister of Defense, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov, today, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Defense.

It was noted that the Defense Minister visited the military units of the Air Forces, the Special Forces, the Rocket and Artillery Troops stationed in the southern regions of Azerbaijan, and Operations Commando units, inspected training centers, and watched the practical combat training sessions of units.

Operational plans were clarified, and specific tasks for further increasing combat readiness were set for the command staff.

On November 5, the Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, held an official meeting.

Deputies of the Minister of Defense, commanders of types of troops, chiefs of main departments, departments, and services of the ministry, as well as commanders of the Army Corps and formations, participated in the meeting.
