Martyrs of Azerbaijan Patriotic War commemorated in Georgia

The Azerbaijani Embassy in Georgia held a ceremony dedicated to the Day of Remembrance.

According to Report's local bureau, at 12:00 pm, the participants observed a minute of silence in honor of the martyrs of the Patriotic War.

The commemoration was attended by military attachés of Azerbaijan and Turkey - Lieutenant-Colonel Fuad Ibrahimov and Colonel Murat Altiner, employees of the embassy and SOCAR, Georgian public figures, members of the Azerbaijani community, and the media.

The embassy counselor Eldar Bayramov said that 28 years have passed since the fall of Sukhumi, and the ceremony also commemorates the victims of the Abkhaz conflict.

The event also featured photographs depicting the Patriotic War, Armenia's war crimes against Azerbaijan, and the joy of victory.
