Hungarian Defense Minister visits one of military units in Azerbaijan

A delegation led by the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Hungary, Mr. Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky, who is on an official visit to Azerbaijan, visited one of the military units, Report informs, citing the Defense Ministry.

First, the delegation visited the cemetery in Baku and Sumgayit cities, where the victims of prisoners of war, including Hungarian soldiers, were buried. The guests laid wreaths at the monuments and honored their memory.

The Hungarian guests expressed gratitude to the representatives of the district executive authorities for the attention provided to the cemeteries.

Then the Hungarian delegation that arrived at one of the military units was presented with a detailed briefing on the military unit's combat path and the process of training the military personnel.

The guests got acquainted with the conditions created for servicemen, weapons, and military equipment, as well as watched exemplary performances in the training center of the military unit.

In the end, the sides exchanged presents, and a photo was taken.
