Farewell ceremony to be held for those killed in military helicopter crash in Azerbaijan

Today a farewell ceremony will take place for those killed in the crash of a military helicopter of the State Border Service at the Garaheybat air range, located in the Khizi district.

Report informs that the ceremony will take place at the Sarhadchi sports complex.

The bodies of the deceased are currently in the Association of Forensic Medical Examination and Pathological Anatomy, from where they will be delivered to the Sarhadchi complex.

After the farewell ceremony, the coffins with the bodies of the deceased will be handed over to their families for burial.

On November 30, a military helicopter of the State Border Service of Azerbaijan crashed during training flights at the Garaheybat air range in the Khizi region. As a result of the incident, 14 people were killed, 2 more were injured.
