During the Patriotic War, the Azerbaijani Army proved that it was equipped with the most modern types of weapons and developed the latest combat tactics, Director of Report News Agency, Fuad Huseynaliyev, said on the air of CBC TV channel.
"The Azerbaijani Army has shown to the whole world that it actively uses various innovations - drones and other modern weapons. The tactics of the Azerbaijani army turned out to be an innovation for the whole world. The world has realized that it is not possible to win on the battlefield with tanks alone," Huseynaliyev noted.
He emphasized that even after the 44-day Patriotic War, the strength of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan continued to increase:
"After the end of the Patriotic War, the Azerbaijani Army became even stronger. In particular, new types of weapons and drones were acquired. The number of Special Forces, which played a key role during the war, was also increased. They made a great contribution to the liberation of Azerbaijani territories from Armenian occupation."
