Deputy Defense Minister of Azerbaijan - Commander of the Air Force Lieutenant-General Ramiz Tahirov and Deputy Defense Minister Agil Gurbanov are in Türkiye, the Azerbaijani Embassy in Ankara told Report.
Ramiz Tahirov, Agil Gurbanov, the military attaché of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces in Türkiye, Colonel Mushfig Mammadov, as well as employees of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Türkiye visited the National Technology Center named after Ozdemir Bayraktar during their visit to Istanbul as part of TEKNOFEST-2023.
Baykar CEO Haluk Bayraktar, who received the Azerbaijani delegation, said that Türkiye's defense industry has made great strides in recent years and stressed Baykar's leading role in this area.
During the meeting, the role of Baykar products in the destruction of the military equipment of the Armenian invaders during the Second Karabakh War was once again noted.
During the conversation, it was emphasized that friendly and fraternal relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye are successfully developing in the military and defense industries, as well as in all other areas. There was also an exchange of views on the cooperation prospects.
