Starting from 10:00 am on July 16, the Armed Forces of Armenia violated the ceasefire regime in the Sadarak-Arazdayan direction of the Armenian-Azerbaijani state border. The enemy units shelled the personnel and equipment of Azerbaijani engineering units, carrying out improvement work in positions of various caliber guns, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Defense.
To silence the enemy, Azerbaijani Army fired back at the units of the Armenian armed forces located near the village of Arazdayan in the Vedi region.
There are no casualties among the personnel or damage to equipment of Azerbaijani units.
"We reiterate that Armenia bears full responsibility for creating tension along the state border between the two countries," the ministry said.
