“We are interested in many Turkish-made weapons, but I will not reveal the names of those weapons due to confidentiality,” Azerbaijani Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov said, Report informs.
The minister emphasized that Türkiye's military industry is developing rapidly: “We are pleased with this development. Azerbaijan is closely interested in Turkey's military industry. We have signed many bilateral agreements. At the same time, we implement many projects together.”
Hasanov said that reforms are being carried out in the army at the behest of the President of Azerbaijan, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Ilham Aliyev: “The structure of the Azerbaijani Army is being improved and reformed in a similar way to the structure of the Turkish Armed Forces. So our structure and weapons should be the same. Great work is being done in this direction. We will fulfill the tasks of the leaders of the two countries in this regard in a short time.”
