Chief of General Staff: Azerbaijani Army adapting to modern army model

Currently, necessary steps are being taken to adapt the Azerbaijan Army to the modern army model, especially to the standards of the Turkish Armed Forces, First Deputy Minister of Defense - Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijan Army Colonel-General Karim Valiyev said at the event dedicated to Turkiye's August 30 - Victory Day.

"Military cooperation between our countries further strengthens our unity. Together, it contributes to maintaining peace and stability in the region," he stressed.
