Azerbaijani servicemen participate in international logistics training in Georgia

Multinational command-staff logistics exercises ("LOGDEV 2019") has kicked off in Georgia, Local bureau of Report informs citing the Georgia's Defense Ministry. Georgian Defense Minister Levan Isoria, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Georgia, Major-General Vladimir Chachibay and other officials attended the official opening ceremony.

Along with Azerbaijan, a total of 130 soldiers from Albania, the US, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Georgia, Serbia, Ukraine, Finland, Sweden and Croatia are participating in the exercises.

The purpose of the exercises is to develop logistics staff and logistical support in compliance with NATO standards in the planning and implementation of multinational operations.

International logistics training will last till May 17.
