Azerbaijani MoD builds over 580 km of paved roads in Kalbajar, Lachin districts

Under the command of Azerbaijani President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev, engineering work continues in territories liberated as a result of the Patriotic War, which ended with the victory of the Azerbaijani Army, Report has learned from the Defense Ministry.

According to the order of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, in order to ensure the activities of the troops stationed in the liberated Kalbajar and Lachin districts, as well as to restore the infrastructure, the engineering troops interact with other government agencies.

All in all, over 580 km of paved roads have been built from the Istisu settlement of Kalbajar District to Minkand settlement of Lachin District, as well as in other directions along the state border. Road markings have been installed along roads to allow troops to move safely in mountainous areas during the winter months.

Necessary measures are being taken to restore infrastructure in the liberated areas.
