Azerbaijani military to march at Moscow parade

A military parade dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Victory over fascism in the Great Patriotic War will take place in Moscow today.

A parade squad consisting of 75 servicemen of the Azerbaijan Army, which left for Moscow a few days ago, will represent our country in the event, Report says.

Azerbaijani officers who completed training in Baku have continued preparations for the parade in Moscow with parade formations of other countries.

Azerbaijani soldiers equipped with weapons made in the country will have a solemn march in the ceremony.

A delegation led by Azerbaijani Defense Minister, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, will attend the celebration as a guest.

Colonel General Zakir Hasanov has been invited by his Russian counterpart, Army General Sergei Shoigu, to the event.

More than 14,000 troops, over 200 armored vehicles, and 75 aircraft and representatives from 13 other countries will take part in the event.
