Azerbaijani military pilots conduct training flights

Azerbaijani military pilots have conducted training flights with Su-25ML and L-39 aircraft under the Defense Ministry's activity plan for 2026, the ministry told Report.

Before the flights, pilots' theoretical knowledge of flight conditions and safety regulations was assessed, and personnel received safety briefings.

Flight crews underwent medical examinations before conducting preflight aircraft inspections.

During the flights, pilots practiced takeoffs and landings, performed aerobatic maneuvers at various altitudes, identified the coordinates of simulated enemy ground targets and conducted aerial reconnaissance.

The training aimed to strengthen practical combat skills and improve pilots' ability to respond to emerging threats to Azerbaijan's airspace.
