Azerbaijani military personnel conducted rescue operation exercises within the framework of the ‘Anatolian Phoenix – 2024’ exercises held in Türkiye, Report informs with reference to Ministry of National Defense of Türkiye.
It was noted that the purpose of the maneuvers is to test and improve the command and control process, to strengthen coordination among personnel and to increase areas of cooperation.
It is worth mentioning that Azerbaijan is represented by a group of personnel of the Parachute descent-search and rescue service and aviation vehicles of the Air Force, as well as special forces of the Navy in the international exercise, lasting until May 17.
