Azerbaijani, Georgian defense ministers sign military cooperation plan for 2023

On November 14, the Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov met with the Minister of Defense of Georgia Juansher Burchuladze.

An official welcoming ceremony was organized at the Ministry of Defense of Georgia. Following the protocol, the defense ministers passed in front of the guard of honor, and the national anthems of both countries were played accompanied by a military band.

The parties exchanged detailed views on regional security, prospects for the development of military cooperation, conducting joint military exercises, and organizing working meetings.

The meeting discussed further expansion of cooperation in military, military-technical, military education, military medicine fields, and other issues of mutual interest.

Finally, the defense ministries of both countries signed a bilateral military cooperation plan for 2023.
