In accordance with the plan approved by the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, a series of events dedicated to September 27 - Remembrance Day were held in the divisions, formations, and military units of the Azerbaijani Army, as well as in special educational institutions.
The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan told Report that, as part of the plan, military personnel visited the Alleys of Martyrs and laid flowers on the graves of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, paying tribute to their cherished memory.
The State Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed by the Military Orchestra during the ceremonies.
