Azerbaijan to demonstrate its latest modern weapons at int'l defense exhibition

Azerbaijan will display its latest modern weapons at the IV Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition (ADEX), which will be held in Baku on September 6-8, 2022, Adviser to the Minister of Defense Industry of Azerbaijan Arif Babayev said at a press conference today, Report informs.

According to Arif Babayev, the exhibition will feature aircraft, armored combat systems, military uniforms and supplies, unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as weapons that played an essential role in achieving victory in the Second Karabakh War.

He said that Caspian Event Organizers was entrusted with the initiative and organization of the exhibition to be held with the support of the Defense Ministry.

“As many as 208 companies from 32 countries will participate in the exhibition. Leading companies in the defense sector of Bulgaria, China, France, Italy, the Netherlands and other countries will be among them. For the first time, Jordanian companies will also participate in the exhibition. This year, eight countries will participate with their national stands,” he added.

The IV Azerbaijan International Defense (ADEX) and XIII International Internal Security, Protection and Rescue (Securex Caspian) exhibitions will be held in Baku on September 6-8.

Ulkar Gasimova, project manager of ADEX and Securex Caspian exhibitions, said that there is an increase in the number of companies sponsoring the event.

The main sponsors of the exhibition are Jadara Equipment & Defense Systems, Turkish Aerospace and ASFAT.
