Azerbaijan's military prosecutor visits mass graves found in liberated territories 

The military prosecutor of Azerbaijan visited the mass graves found in the liberated territories, the Press Service of the Military Prosecutor's Office told Report.

According to the Service, as a result of relevant searches conducted by the employees of the Military Prosecutor's Office of Azerbaijan jointly with representatives of the State Security Service, the State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons, the International Red Cross Committee (ICRC) and other relevant bodies, mass graves were discovered in the liberated lands, including the Dashalti village of the Shusha district, the Edilli village of the Khojavend district, the Syrkhavand village of the Aghdam district, as well as the Farrukh village of the Khojaly district and other areas of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The remains of more than 450 human corpses, believed to belong to the people who went missing during the First Karabakh War, were exhumed.

Khanlar Valiyev, Military Prosecutor of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Deputy Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan, visited the mentioned areas on October 26, 2022, took an interest in the progress of the investigation and gave relevant recommendations and assignments.
