Azerbaijan represented at an international seminar on cyber security in Tbilisi

Tbilisi hosts seminar on “Cyber security in Eastern Partnership countries", Local Bureau of Report News Agency informs citing the Georgian Defense Ministry.

The event was organized by the Cyber Security Bureau of Georgian Defense Ministry, the Lithuanian Republic and the European External Action Service.

The two-day seminar focused on fight against cyber threats, strengthening of cyber security, and raising awareness on this issue.

Along with Georgia, representatives from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Moldova, Ukraine and Lithuania will share their experiences in cyber security and hold discussions.

The seminar on cyber security is held in Georgia for the first time. By the decision of Georgian Defense Minister Levan Izoria, 2019 was declared the year of "Cyber security" in the Defense Forces of the country.
