Azerbaijan can end Armenia's provocations by creating security zone

What happened on the border on the night of September 12-13 once again showed how Armenia is 'ready' for peace and how it approaches the negotiations in Brussels. Therefore, Azerbaijan can put an end to Armenia's provocations by creating a security zone, Reserve colonel Uzeyir Jafarov told Report.

According to him, it is clear who is responsible for the provocations:

"We observed who the Prime Minister of Armenia called and who he reported to. In short, it is clear as day who is behind the issue. Forces with interests in the region use Armenia to provoke it to commit provocations against Azerbaijan. For some reason, the officials of the US department, Russia, and France, who made the statements, do not ask themselves the question, what is the Armenian soldier doing in the Azerbaijani lands after the 44-day war?! Why are Armenian military personnel causing provocations, planting mines, and opening fire on the territory of Azerbaijan?! Even Azerbaijani positions are fired from the regions where Russian peacekeepers are temporarily stationed, and the Russian Federation reacts very calmly to this. After all, all this was clearly written in the tripartite agreement of November 2020, and even today several of those provisions remain unfulfilled. How is it that Pashinyan does not respect the document he signed and deceives the international community?! Therefore, these provocations are neither the first nor the last."

Jafarov emphasized that Armenia has always been the tongs of forces with interests in the region and this will never change:

"Azerbaijan knows very well how Armenia behaved during these years. Therefore, a safety zone, that is, a 'buffer zone,' must be created. Armenia should understand that Azerbaijan will not allow any arbitrariness from now on. I believe that the 'buffer zone' should be created in such a way that Armenia does not pose a threat to Azerbaijan's border guards, soldiers, and military infrastructure. If they want to create a threat, let them deeply understand what bitter consequences it will end for Armenia."
