The Atlantic Council, a well-known US think tank, has praised Azerbaijan-Türkiye military cooperation as an exemplary and effective model, Report informs via Haber Global.
Positive feedback was given at the extensive meeting of the Atlantic Council.
During the meeting, the achievements of Türkiye’s defense industry were highlighted. It was particularly noted that Türkiye has become a leading country in the application of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and artificial intelligence.
The meeting emphasized the need to integrate these technologies into defense systems of NATO member countries, with Turkish-Azerbaijani military cooperation cited as a successful example of integration.
Volkan Oskiper, a representative of the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that the foundation of defense cooperation between the two countries was established in 1992. He noted that the Azerbaijani Army has been adapted to NATO standards.
