Armenia opens fire on Lachin border checkpoint, Azerbaijani serviceman wounded - UPDATED

At 8:45 a.m. on June 15, 2023, a soldier of the State Border Service of Azerbaijan serving at the Lachin border checkpoint was wounded as a result of fire opened from the territory of the Republic of Armenia, the State Border Service, told Report.

The firing point of the enemy was silenced by the retaliatory fire, and the operational conditions are under the control of the Azerbaijani units.

"The wounded serviceman received first aid, his life is not in danger. All responsibility for this provocation lies with the military and political leadership of Armenia," the Border Service said.
