The behavior of the Russian peacekeepers stationed in the territory of the Karabakh economic region towards the Azerbaijani media representatives caused outrage.
In the videos shared on social networks, it can be seen that a "peacekeeper" damages the car of the Report News Agency with the butt of a riffle and behaves rudely with an employee. Assault rifles and machine gunners gathered around the car, obviously belonging to the media organization, act like criminals.
Of course, Report's car is a civilian car, not armored, and its employees are civilians who don't carry weapons. However, the "peacekeepers," who act as representatives of humanitarian organizations (that's what they officially call themselves) toward Armenian separatists, violate Azerbaijani and international laws against media representatives. With this, they also show their real character.
In fact, one cannot expect a normal attitude towards Azerbaijanis from Russian peacekeepers, regardless of their occupation.
The main thing is that on the part of the road under the control of Russian peacekeepers in the territory of Shusha, Azerbaijani activists, and NGO members have been protesting for about a day, demanding an end to environmental terrorism in the Karabakh economic region.
