Report Media School kicks off new training program

The Report Media School, an initiative of the Report Information Agency, has launched its 18th group training program. Nine students will participate in the program, focusing on crafting news articles, conducting interviews, and producing engaging reports while learning the fundamentals of journalism.

Throughout the course, special emphasis will be placed on news journalism. Since its inception in June 2018, the Report Media School has been dedicated to nurturing professional media personnel in Azerbaijan, introducing young journalists to modern global press trends, and harnessing the potential of individuals passionate about journalism.

During a meeting with the students, Fuad Huseynaliyev, Director of the Report Information Agency, stressed the importance of mastering news writing skills in accordance with professional journalism standards. "At our agency, we always strive to ensure that news is prepared according to these standards. Consequently, students joining the training program must also write news based on these principles," Huseynaliyev stated. He added, "If you approach the process responsibly, you can achieve great results. Mastering the profession of a journalist is not an easy task, and each student must put in their best effort."

Ismayil Rafigoghlu, head of the Report Media School, emphasized that the training for this group will be conducted in Russian. Over the years, dozens of young people have graduated from the Report Media School and have gone on to work in various media organizations across the country.
