Report Media School completes another training program

The training program of the 9th group of the Report Media School run by Report News Agency has come to an end.

The agency presented certificates to nine journalists, who prepare news, interviews, reports, research articles, videos, photo reports, learn the secrets of the journalism profession, and participated in monitoring and surveys.

Director of Report News Agency Fuad Huseynaliyev congratulated the graduates, who successfully completed the training course:

"I believe that the knowledge you have gained at the Report Media School will be useful to you in the future. I hope that with the help of your experience in Report, one of the leading news agencies in the country, you will be able to open a path in journalism. I congratulate each of you and wish you success in your future endeavours."

The head of the Report Media School, Ismayil Rafigoglu, stressed that the members of the group worked at a very intensive pace:

“No other group at the Report Media School has worked so intensively. Members of the group had the opportunity to test themselves in a variety of genres, from `hot’ and `cold’ news to research writing. We had useful meetings with a publicist, columnist Gulnara Rafig, writer-poet Jalil Javanshir, head of the School of Conflict Journalism Alisafa Mehdi. During a meeting with Gulchin Jamil, a graduate of the Report Media School and an employee of Report, she shared the secret of his success over the past few years. Experienced journalist Tarana Abbasova's master class on television was also met with interest.”

Ismayil Rafigoglu also recalled several events that took place at the Report Media School:

“This training period will be remembered with two events. We gave a certificate to Elmir Hasanov, a member of the Report Media School, who went to the front from the first day of the 44-day Patriotic War, which we could not present at that time. It was a great pleasure to meet Elmir, who was wounded in the battle and awarded the medals "For Military Service" and "For the Liberation of Fuzuli".

In addition, today we presented a certificate to Nazrin Abdullayeva, who took a training course in the first group of the Report Media School but did not get it in 2018.

Report Media School was launched in June 2018. The purpose of the Media School is to train professionals in the media sector in Azerbaijan, to convey to young journalists the current trends in world media, to reveal the potential of those who are interested in journalism and want to work in this sector, to increase practical knowledge and skills.
