A landmine explosion in Kalbajar district killed a cameraman of Azerbaijan Television Siraj Abishov, 1989, and an employee of AzerTag Maharram Ibrahimov (Alioglu), and wounded some people. The National Television and Radio Company (NTRC) extends deepest condolences to the families of both of our colleagues and wishes God's mercy to them, the NTRC said in a statement.
The statement says that Armenia planted more than one hundred thousand mines in the liberated territories. Tens of civilians have been killed and wounded by mines so far. Armenia does not provide maps of minefields which could help prevent more losses.
"We invite the world community and international organizations to call on Armenia to provide maps of the mined areas of Azerbaijan," the statement said.
