Traditional media should evaluate not only the capabilities of artificial intelligence but also all possible risks, Ahmad Ismayilov, executive director of the Media Development Agency (MEDIA), said at the Media Literacy conference, Report informs.
According to Ismayilov, the professionalism of new media in content creation plays an important role in improving society's media literacy.
"Improving media literacy is a large-scale and continuous process affecting all segments of the population. On one hand, it's about improving media education, and on the other hand, it's about educating literate media consumers," he said.
The head of the agency emphasized that one of the effective methods of international practice is the integration of media literacy into educational programs at various levels, as well as conducting coordinated activities in this area.
Ismayilov also noted the importance of creating educational internet resources, promoting national publications, and improving theoretical and practical skills.
