Local and foreign photojournalists to visit Shusha

With the financial support of the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Support for Children and Teenagers Public Union launched the implementation of the international photographic project Shusha, the cultural capital of Azerbaijan, in photos.

Report informs that project manager Farhad Abdulov said that the goal is to promote the history and cultural heritage of the city of Shusha among local, Turkish and Georgian youth through young photojournalists from Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkiye.

Within the framework of the project, in which well-known photojournalist Orhan Azim takes part as an expert, ten young photojournalists from Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey will visit Shusha. The photographs taken by them in Shusha will be widely distributed on the social networks of all three countries. In addition, postcards with photographs reflecting the cultural heritage of the city of Shusha will be issued within the framework of the project. At the next stage, photo exhibitions will be organized in cities such as Baku, Tbilisi, Marneuli, Bolnisi, Istanbul, Eskisehir and Antalya.
