Head of Report Media School: Not all participants stand until the end of the training

The training program of the seventh consecutive group of Report Media School functioning at the Report Information Agency has been completed.

Certificates were handed to seven journalists who prepared interviews, reportages, research articles, video plots, photo reports, learned the secrets of journalism, and joined monitoring and surveys.

Director of the Report Information Agency Fuad Huseynaliyev spoke about the importance of journalism at a meeting with the graduates of the Report Media School.

"Journalism is a fascinating and challenging sphere. Today, there is a need for professional journalists in media. Through Report Media School, our agency helps journalists to realize their potential. I hope that in the future, the graduates of this group of the Media School will work at the largest media structures of the country, including Report."

Media School chief Ismayil Rafiqoglu has congratulated the successful graduates.

"Practice shows that not all participants can stand until the end of the training. Some give up during practical work, surveys, and interviews. The young journalists of this group could cope with the tasks by overcoming psychological tension. The students held interesting meetings with famous radio and television host Javid Osmanov, member of the Directors' Board of the Azerbaijan Sports Journalists Federation and chairman of the Sports Research Center Elshan Mammadov, famous publicist, translator, and writer Nariman Abdulrahmanli and visited the Space 104 FM radio."

Report Media School started functioning in June 2018. Its main aim is to train specialists in the media sphere in Azerbaijan, bring the modern trends used in global media to journalists, discover the potential of those keen on journalism and increase their practical knowledge and skills in the sphere. Dozens of young people have graduated from the Report Media School and now work at different media structures of the country.
