Haber Global TV employee Meherrem Can Kurtulus was killed in an armed attack in Istanbul.
According to Report, citing Haber Global, 4 people have been detained on suspicion of attacking the 27-year-old TV employee.
According to the available information, Kurtulus parked his car in a parking lot in the Beylikduzu district of Istanbul.
"He noticed four people arguing with officials in the parking lot and tried to resolve the conflict. They didn't calm down and started arguing with Kurtulus. Passersby managed to separate the parties. Later, when Kurtulus was leaving a cafe with a friend and getting into his car, the four suspects he had argued with earlier blocked his path. The Haber Global employee was shot, and the suspects fled the scene. Severely wounded, Kurtulus died in the hospital," the channel said.
According to police, during searches at the suspects' residences, one unregistered pistol, 4 scales, and 1.2 kg of narcotic substances were seized.
