Today, the martyrs of the 44-day Patriotic War in Azerbaijan are being commemorated at the Second Alley of Honor. On September 27, four years ago, every one of the ten million Azerbaijanis became a soldier.
According to Report, this was highlighted in a video reportage by Haber Global TV about September 27 - Remembrance Day in Azerbaijan.
The video material mentioned that while it is joyous for internally displaced persons (IDPs) to return to their homeland, it is even more honorable to visit the graves of those who sacrificed their lives for that homeland:
“Four years ago, the first step was taken towards the day when one million IDPs would return to their homeland after 30 years. Although years have passed since the events, the wounds in the hearts of the martyred mothers and fathers remain fresh. But today, they visit their children’s graves with respect and pride.”
Haber Global in the video reportage also provided information about the anti-terrorist operation carried out on September 19-20, 2023, emphasizing its significance.
